The Pokemon Journey Together TCG set releases March 28, 2025. It's packed with some incredible gold cards, special illustration rares, full art pokemon, full art supporters, and promo cards that didn’t make the “cut”. Let’s take a look at these cards, then talk prices.

Journey Together Gold Cards

I think these are the best looking ultra rares, due to the PREMIUM artwork. Here’s a look below:

Iono’s Bellibolt ex (ultra rare - gold). The Streamer Discharge ability lets players attach any amount of energy cards to Iono’s Pokemon. Instant 1HKO setup. Thunderous Bolt can only be used every other turn.
Gold N’s Zoroark ex (ultra rare - gold). The trade ability lets players discard one card to draw two, once per turn. The Night Joker ability lets Zoroark use a benched Pokemon’s attack.
Gold Spike Energy (ultra rare - gold). This energy card puts 2 damage counters on whoever attacks the active Pokemon that Spike Energy is attached to.

It’s nice to see Brock make an appearance.

Brock’s Scouting searches for up to 2 Basic Pokemon or an Evolution Pokemon to add to your hand.
Iris’s Fighting Spirit is used when you discard a card, to draw until you have 6 cards in your hand.
Ruffian is a disruption card that discards a Pokemon Tool and a Special Energy from 1 of your opponent's Pokémon.

Journey Together Promo Cards

It’s normal for some cards to not make it into the main release. These often show up as promo cards. Here are a few cards rumored to be promos in Pokemon Journey Together:

Journey Together Price List

We can follow prices of the Japanese version of the set (Battle Partners) released January 24th, to get a clue of how the American prices will move. Keep in mind American prices should be higher due to demand and lower hit rates.

Iono’s Billibolt EX

The gold version of this card was sky high at $147, then dropped all the way down to $61.
The Special Illustration Rare version of this card was as high as $260, but is currently sold around $175-$190.

N’s Zoroark EX

The gold version dropped from $85-$46.
The special illustration rare version dropped from $176 to $121.

Iris’s Fighting Spirit

This “waifu” card freefell from $42 down to $16.

Salamence EX

The super rare version sits around $3.
The special art version fell from $78 to $50.

N’s Reshiram

This special illustration rare fell from $56 down to $23.
