That’s three sets in a row where we’ve looked at the market and decided to be the chaotic good guys of the TCG world.

You’ve seen what’s going on out there. People fighting at McDonalds, buying out Happy Meals and dumping the food so they can resell their “Pikachu eating a Burger” card.

Packs for the Mega Evolution set are already being pre-sold on TCGplayer for $20 a pop.

Twenty. Friggin. Dollars. For one booster pack that’s not even out yet.

Meanwhile, MSRP for these packs is around $5.

So we’re going under that.

Why we do this…

Short answer: because.

I find bizarre ways to keep prices low on the newest Pokemon set. Every other set is 10% lower than TCGplayer prices.

I price this way because it’s fun. It keeps customers coming back. That’s it.

Limited supply…

This is a Mega Evolution set. Fan favorites. Mega Charizard. Mega Mewtwo. The kind of set that will sell out instantly - especially with the price being UNDER MSRP.

So when I drop my “the drop is now” email, it’s gonna be crazy. If you’re late, you lose.
